Our journey began with an opportunity to do good, an opportunity we couldn’t ignore.
As one of the founders of Verb Essentials, a Carlsbad-based design firm specializing in high-quality leather goods, we had firsthand experience in the manufacturing world. In that process, we discovered something troubling: high-end brands were discarding mass amounts of premium leather, simply because it didn’t fit their production standards. Perfectly good material, wasted.
We reclaim premium leathers transforming them into timeless essentials that honor craftsmanship.
That’s when Threadworks Red was born. We saw potential where others saw excess and made it our mission to give these premium leather scraps a second life. Using our experience and expertise, we transform discarded leather into exceptional bags and gloves, pieces that are not only nice to look at but are also ethically made.
